these days: schooling

We have been getting back in the swing of schooling for the first time since Eleanor was born. We never got behind since I started Riley at the beginning of August and knew we might need a little bit of room somewhere in September for not keeping up. But it was harder than I thought it would be to squeeze in school in the mornings when Riley was in her prime. Mornings in an old house with a wood stove for heat, making real food for breakfast, and catching up the babe with feedings (she sleeps so well at night)…there didn’t seem to be room for school before 11am. But this week we found a little morning rhythm and some fun schooling activities that Ry can do mostly on her own. I am so thankful for these little bits of goodness.
